Years ago I found this quote:
We were all humans until...
race disconnected us,
religion separated us,
politics divided us,
and wealth classified us.
But nothing brings us back together as good as a common enemy.
These days that enemy is Putin's Russia and their unforgivable attack on the independent Ukraine.
I hail all those brave people defending their homes and lives. Let's all do something for them.
p.s. I sincerely hope we are not on a brink of something bigger.
