I've recently been testing an approach to limiting my smartphone use - I began to limit where it can go at home.
Currently it has allowance for work areas and living room, but I'm seriously considering ditching the latter.
Outcomes? Really positive. It cannot go into bedroom, which makes me read more books or comics in the evening! And since I began I started noticing phone overuse even more.
In general I like it. In my opinion distracting tech should be confined to a physical space, otherwise it will spread like a virus.
It's bad we got hyped into believing otherwise.
